Universal Gases Limited, is a company incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Decree of 1990, and is involved in the Manufacture and Marketing of Industrial Gases.

The Company which has its Head Office at Victoria Island and Factory located at Km.1 Ijoko Road, Sango-Otta in Ogun-State, started operations in
1992, utilizing one of the best international technology and safety standards to cater for the needs of a wide variety of Industries.

The facilities includes one of the best Air Separation Units in Nigeria, large warehouses, depots, more than 100 distributors, Agents and own distribution network.

The Company has commissioned its two Air Separation Units (A 64sm3/hr Gas plant and 180sm/hr. Liquid/Gas Plant), Acetylene plants and Liquid compressing stations utilizing its own technical experts and staff, backed up by foreign technology and technical advisers.

The activities of the company which includes delivering quality products, safely and on time has placed her as a major Industrial Gases Company in Nigeria and this has won her the FIRST GAS COMPANY in Nigeria to be awarded the NIS ISO 9001:2000 certification by Standards Organization of Nigeria. The imported liquid Argon, as well as the locally produced liquid Oxygen and Nitrogen are stored in Vacuum Insulated Storage Tanks (VIST) installed in the Liquid compressing station and transported through Vacuum Insulated Transport Tankers (VITT).

The company's products profile include Oxygen (Industrial and Medical), Nitrogen (Industrial and UHP), Acetylene, Argon (99.9995%), Helium (99.995%), Hydrogen (99.995%), and Carbon-dioxide. These products profile cater for a wide range of customers and the use of information technology assists us in analyzing customer usage pattern.
